You were probably going to guess this was going to be a cute post about how John proposed but instead it’s about some other important people in our life- the people we want standing next to us on our wedding day!

Choosing my bridal party was definitely a tough decision! I’ve been fortunate enough to make so many close friends throughout middle and high school that I still keep in touch with! I wanted to do a little something special for the ladies that I was going to ask and I was inspired by Lovely Lost Things and her bridesmaid boxes. (View her post here)

One of my favorite things to craft is wineglasses- so I decided to paint one for each of my bridesmaids as well as our flower girl and ring bearer. Since our wedding colors will be gold and aqua those are the colors I chose to paint the glasses in! When John saw the glasses he agreed to let me paint one for each of his groomsmen as well.

I found these super cute little milk glasses at Target in the dollar section! I think all of the glasses turned out really fun!

I also got some mini champagne bottles from the grocery store and wanted to add a little sparkle to them!

First I gave them a coat of spray paint- Since I already had a can of Valspar Metallic paint (in Gold) and some glitter at home this project only cost me the Champagne!

I gave each bottle a coat of mod podge and then sprinkled on some glitter.

I also picked up some fun sunglasses from the $1 section at Target! Everything got a tag from Michaels. I was planning to make the tag’s myself, but these were just too perfect!

Finally I added a card that I designed online and assembled everything in a photobox that I picked up on sale at Micheal’s!

I’m really in love with these cards and love how each card is unique to that person and the relationship we have together! You can download my cards for FREE by subscribing below!

For our flower girl and ring bearer I got a fun toy instead of champagne!

I’m really in love with the way they turned out! And luckily all of my wonderful ladies said yes!!
