John and I really want a light and fresh looking kitchen. The kitchen layout has been finalized and the white shaker cabinets have been installed. In order to pick out our countertop we went to two of the local granite places.
Here are a few of my favorite kitchens for inspiration.
I really liked the countertops that had movement in them. My favorite was the White Waves because it looked closer to marble but with the durability of granite. John’s favorite was the Blue Fantasy.
Thanks to the amazing deal we got from Artisan Granite we decided to go with John’s top choice. (Plus it means I got to choose the bathroom tile).
Not only does it fit the vision of a lighter kitchen, its beautiful and completely fit our budget! In fact we were able to purchase two slabs to use throughout the entire house for the price that we had budgeted for just the kitchen!
Please pardon the terrible pictures. I had to snap pictures at dusk (with no light) before we covered them to paint. I promise to have much better pictures in the final reveal!
