We have paint! We’ve spent the last three weekends doing nothing but painting and the whole house officially has two coats! (with the exception of the stairs and trim.)
We probably should’ve taken out stock at Sherwin Williams before we began because we purchased all of our paint from them and spent a pretty penny!
After picking up a ton of paint swatches to choose our paint I did lots of “research on pinterest” to figure out how the paint would look in different rooms.

I headed to our local Sherwin Williams with the list of square footage for each room and purchased all of the paint.
We’re painting everything ourselves to save money and although I love to decorate painting the entire house has taken so long!
By far the worst part of the painting was getting up in the high corners. Our ceilings are 20ft high so the 12ft ladder wouldn’t cut it. We ended up having to borrow our friends extension ladder to get the high spots.
Here’s our whole house plan! The only thing left to determine is what to paint the guest bedrooms!
